No Prose
When texts take each other in, instead of standing apart side by side, when they are carried in a shared flow. At No Prose, a reading series for poetry and hybrid texts, works interlock instead of being read in blocks by author. »[…] You scared the neighbours / with your loud laugh, / with your long limbs. / You are a spider. / The mosquitoes fight with you / over my blood.« (Ground floor, Daria Pantyukhova) meets »let’s fight / about the reasons / i gifted you this high-quality cardboard cut-out / of me a couple of months ago […]« (When Grand Reveal, Lena Stewens).
After two events in Frankfurt, No Prose is now a guest at Kamins Zimmer in Berlin.
»No Prose #3« OPEN CALL
For the next edition on Oct 29th, 2026, the curatorial team is once again looking for authors and their texts. They are looking for poems as well as hybrid and experimental forms, in German or English, or in English translation. Classic prose is not the focus. Participation requires that you read your own texts at the event yourself. Send 2–3 texts as PDF or Word to noprose@gmx.de by Oct 8th, 2026 if you’d like to take part.
No Prose is organized by Aran Kleebaur, Daria Pantyukhova, and Lena Stewens, but understands itself as a collaborative project.
