Bookshop Kohlhaas & Co.

Since 1988, Kohlhaas & Co. has been the bookshop in the basement of the Literaturhaus Berlin, and also looks after the book stalls at our events. It stocks a carefully curated selection of German and English-language literature. A particular focus is on the latest releases in fiction, Judaica and poetry. A colourful children’s and young adult section also invites young readers to explore.

Café-Restaurant Wintergarten

The Café-Restaurant Wintergarten at the Literaturhaus Berlin, with its beautiful garden, is one of Berlin’s most famous cafés. As well as breakfast, coffee and cake, hot meals are also available every day. Whether in the garden on warm summer days or in the historic conservatory in winter, the Café-Restaurant Wintergarten at the Literaturhaus Berlin offers the chance to eat, drink, read the newspapers on offer or books you’ve brought with you, or simply chat before and after every event.
